Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Nine

In the previous chapter I described the return to the market place of the Fall of Dorn and of the discovery that the Hull Rats had been expelled from that place by Captain Jalasas. The forces of Talis Saro were determined to go to the Leader of the Hull Rats Von Hells and attempt to prevent any reprisals.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Eight

In the previous chapter Talis Saro spoke with the Sensanarion the leader of the Faction known as the Lighteyes. From these people they had hoped to get information that would help them to escape from the Graveswarm before the two vessels hit the Space Hulk and were drawn into the Warp. This mission had been successful, with the Sensanarion locating a vessel seemingly parked just outside of the Graveswarm.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Seven

In the previous chapter I showed the truth of the Officers meeting with the great and powerful of the factions of the Fall of Dorn. Plans had been set in motion and many pieces of information had been gained. In particular Bosphorus the Grand Architect High Magos of the Tick-Tock men had told them of the Lighteyes faction, who he suggested might be able to help them locate a vessel within the Graveswarm that they could move to and repair.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Six continued

The officers of the Treasurer prepared themselves to meet with Chemyst Hulang the somewhat oleaginous leader of the Fuellers faction. Already they had met with the representative of the Megiddo, a serious man with a great belief in his factions system of government. They had also met self-styled Magos Bosphorus the leader of the Tick Tock Men, who they had told of the upcoming impact with the Spacehulk and who in turn asked that his techpriesthood be taken off the vessel and he be included in the resultant priesthood, indeed he requested that he be granted the Sensorium as his domain. The last person they had met was Von Hells the lowerhold barbarian who had designs on the lighter bay market.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Four

In the previous chapter I wrote of the end of the battle of Pilgrims and the return of the Seleucaemi Treasurer to realspace. However there were still further trials to fall upon the shoulders of Talis Saro.

No sooner had the ship returned to real space it was rocked by a huge impact, as the ship was struck bodily by another object. The damage already wrought on the ship was as nothing compared to the damage which now occurred, the engines of the treasurer were smashed to flinders by the impact, and many other sections were destroyed.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro.

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Three

In the previous chapter I wrote of the beginning of the conflict that in later annals became known as the battle of the Pilgrims. The end of the battle however bears closer examination.

There were still a number of the Daemonic Foes in combat around the Pilgrims however under the watchful eye of Talis Saro, Macharius the First Officer, and the Master at arms Ichigo placed their fire-power against them. Two of the Warp entities were slain in a hail of holy bolter shells, one dying as it's head was destroyed and another having the muscles of it's chest blown from it's body and expiring from the leaking of it's vital fluids. Such was the skill of the people under Talis Saro's command, chosen with great care by his own hand. Talis himself fired upon another one, striking it with the Plasma pistol that was to have so great a place in his mythology, and catching the warp tainted flesh of the beast afire with cleansing fire, and causing the beast to shriek in pain. Not for long however as his Enginseer prime put the creature down, a burst of bolter shells tearing it's leg off as calculated by her enhanced mind.

Malechta's Treatise upon the Line of Saro. Part 1

Fifty Third Volume, Chapter Twenty Two.

In the previous chapter we discussed the genetic malfeasance that was prevalent in the Line Saro's greatest rivals the O'Verlan Clan. The animosity between the two lines was by this time exceedingly warm, with almost constant combat between the lines themselves and their proxies. With the Line of Saro's discovery of the of the unholy taint in the O'Verlan genetic and the seizing of the evidence of this taint the response from their Ancestral enemies was both vigorous and overwhelming.
